Scrap what you love...

Hi, everyone! Ready for another Docerela Creations Challenge?  

So let the Fun begin!!!!  Since it is National Scrapbooking Month...

Today's Challenge: Scrap What you Love!

Every time you enter a challenge you get entered for a chance to win a Stamp Set of Docerela Stamps! Yes, it´s a GREAT prize!! 

The Docerela Stamp Sets help us to create LOVELY projects, because she creates the sentiments so carefully, and in both languages, ENGLISH and PORTUGUESE! As I´m from Brazil, I say YAAAAYYYY!!! THANKS, CAT!!   =) 

They are really high quality stamps, making paper crafting even better!

I don't normally scrapbook but I am really getting more into it slowly, as "my thing" always was cardmaking and party favors. 

So I decided to scrap something I really LOVE, but haven´t do for a while: Sewing!!! 

Yes, I LOVE to make mini double-faced bags, those Babushka dolls, the "CatAngels" (as long as I also LOVE Cats and Angels...)  =D 

So here is my project:

 

The title "COSTURINHAS" means something like "sewed little things"...

 

Those are the "CATANGELS" (in Portuguese "GATANJOS") that my dad asked me to make for him to give to the nurses in the clinic where he did a treatment. He told me that if he gave gold dust it wouldn´t have made the same effect. They LOVED them! And I was so happy because my dad was too.

 

 

The words and the phrase I used (in green and blue) are from Docerela Stamp Set I - in Portuguese

For this project I used:

Graphic 45 Designer Paper;
DCWV Yellow Glitter paper;
Creme solid Cardstock;

Adhesive

Cards, cards... how I LOVE making cards!

Hi, Everyone!

Here I am (late) for a new post. But I am late with this post for a good cause. AMORECOS Creations Blog was all redesigned and I can say I am pretty happy with the result! And as I am from Brazil and speak Portuguese, I also have an AMORECOS Blog in my language... ;-)

Besides, I´m super busy with my local shop, which is becoming sooooo lovely (yaaaaayy!) and with the products to put there; as well as with the projects for the Docerela Creations Design Team (I´m a proud member)!!!   Wow!

In between of one thing and another, I made 2 cards for a swap:

 

So, for the Orange one I used DCWV textured cardstock; White Watercolor cardstock; Hero Arts Babushka Stamp Set; We R making Memories Washi Tape; Tafeta White Ribbon; Markers.

And for this Mini-Mini Pink one, I used Pink Shimmer DCWV cardstock (beeeaauuutiful!); Stampin´Up Punch Border; White Watercolor cardstock; Hero Arts Babushka Stamp Set (again, just can´t stop!); Dimensionals; Markers.

So, even working, I can tell that I´ve been having A LOT OF FUN  those past 2 weeks!

Docerela Creations MOTHER DAY CHALLENGE!

Hi, Everyone!

Well, here we are with another Docerela Creations great Challenge, to honor all the MOMS. 

So, for this Challenge make something for Mother´s Day, whatever that comes from your heart - a layout, a treat holder, a card... 

I made a" reminder" for my mom, so she can always remember how I feel about her and how I appreciate everything she did and still does for me! Here´s my project:

It´s a Post-It Holder and that´s the cover.

 On the inside I also stamped another "reminder" for my mom (all using the AMAZING Docerela Creations Stamps Sets in Portuguese!!! Just LOVE those stamps!):

For this Project I used the following supplies:

- Pink Shimmer Cardstock;
- Pink Post-It 3 x 3 inches pad;
- Paper and fabric scraps (to build the "patch" embellishment);
- A purple heart gem ( also to embellish);
- Docerela Creations Portuguese Stamps Sets I and II (you can see them below).

FRIENDSHIP

Hi everyone!  

Now feeling so much better, I am very very happy to write this post!
Yes, I have a special reason. I mean two... or three!  =D

Today I received an unexpected visit of one of my BFFs, Patricia! I LOVE HER, we are SOUL-SISTERS.
And I´m no kidding when I say that, we can read each other minds. Really!!! It´s something AMAZING...

Well, I was waking up when she called me asking if she could come here to my home (imagine that!). She WAS HERE ALL THE TIME when we were younger!  =) So she came and we had lunch and as my brother was here too, she could be with the hole family (I just wish my dad was still here with us, but he´s now in a better place, we know that). So, here is one of my BFFs EVER!!! I´m on the left and she´s on the right:

She is beautiful, on the inside and on the outside, and also a great MOM! She´s a real "warrior", to raise her 3 AMAZING kids on her own! They are so LOVELY and ADORABLE, and she´s one of the biggest BLESSINGS in my life! It seems like she could feel I needed to see her and spend some quality time with her... Yes, our FRIENDSHIP is a GIFT FROM GOD. Here she´s at the terrace, in my home, just chatting a little, before we leave to my Studio-Shop (AMORECOS).

So we decided to walk along the Icaraí Beach, only 2 blocks from my home. And suddenly we see this BEAUTIFUL ANGEL sculpture, made with sand and water only, to confirm that our meeting was blessed since the beginning...

Well, on my Studio-Shop, I started to work on a Mother´s Day project, using the new AMORECOS product, totally handmade: Deco-Tapes!  Yaaaayyy!!! I wanted to made those by myself for a long time and now I think I got addicted to them LOL!! Here´s just a sneak peak of the first 2 I made, but these are not the one I´m using on my Mother´s Day project  (wich I can´t show yet because it´s for a Challenge):

At the time of leaving the Shop my other BFF (ever!!!), and also my Cousin, Carla called me asking if I wanted to go to drink some coffee with her. And, BELIEVE ME, it´s a VERY RARE THING to happen!!!
Here we are (now she´s the one on the left and this photo is from last year because on I didn´t have my camera when I was with Carla):

So, I´m thinking about them (and MY mom of course) to get inspiration for this project I´m making. Both Patricia and Carla are AMAZING MOMS!!! Their kids are the best!  =D

I wanted to share with you guys these 2 VERY SPECIAL moments that happened today because they came like a sign to remember me what real FRIENDSHIP is about...   =)
